Cape Union Mart celebrates Pieter-Steph du Toit’s 100th Bok Test with a special jersey and cap.

To play 100 Tests in the Green and Gold is no small achievement, but then again, at 2 metres tall there’s nothing small or ordinary about Pieter-Steph du Toit. In 2024, Du Toit – who played for the SA U20s when they won the Junior World Championship in 2012 – became the first South African player to win the World Rugby Men’s 15s Player of the Year award twice. He has also won the SA Rugby Player of the Year award in 2016, 2018 and 2019. On 29 August, Du Toit will play his 100th test, joining an elite group of Springboks to reach this milestone.

“Playing a single test for the Springboks is a huge honour and a privilege. To have played so many more than that, I feel truly blessed and grateful,” says Du Toit.

Du Toit is a brand ambassador for Cape Union Mart, and the retailer is celebrating this milestone with a special collection. K-Way has developed a limited-edition 100th-cap rugby jersey and peak cap, created specifically to commemorate the occasion. Both are available to purchase at selected Cape Union Mart stores and online.
