TASTE TEST: We tried Tabasco’s Buffalo Sauce (and we’re crazy about it)
Have you tried Tabasco’s latest flavour yet? The Buffalo style sauce from this well-known brand has been on our shelves for a few months now, but is currently on everyone’s lips thanks to social media.
Pizzas, wings, salad and dipping sauces . . . there are hundreds of ways you can use the new Buffalo Style Sauce from Tabasco. Tabasco has adapted its regular hot sauce with cayenne pepper, garlic and spices to give it a Buffalo-style flavour profile, and we’re mad about it. The sauce is less potent than regular Tabasco and gets 2 out of 5 flames on the bottle (which indicates spiciness).
Tabasco has been made in Louisiana, America, since 1868 and the company is still family-owned after all these years. The original Tabasco sauce is made from chili peppers that are finely ground with salt and aged in oak barrels for up to three years, after which it is blended with vinegar and aged further. It takes five years in total to make a bottle of Tabasco.

Dipping sauce with a bite
The recipe that’s got social media raving is a simple dipping sauce that transforms your office food into a protein-rich snack.
Mix 100 ml Greek yoghurt, two dashes of Tabasco Buffalo Sauce and a dash of lemon juice.
Enjoy it with vegetable sticks or as a salad dressing.

Easy chicken wings
Mix 60 ml Tabasco Buffalo Sauce with 60 ml butter and drizzle it over 400 grams of chicken wings. Roast in the air fryer for 15 minutes, turning them every few minutes.
